After posting the original, I noticed a glaring error–the kind of mistake you make when you’ve stayed up late painting instead of going to bed. The mast was on the wrong side of the sails! So, I fixed it. I also touched up the waves a bit. Again, the colour was punched up a bit using my gmic filter, "60′s Cinema FX" set to "Carey Grant"

If you go back and look at the original, the sails indicate that the ship is coming toward you, though you are looking at the aft. I also fixed the wave that was hitting the side of the ship, I didn’t feel that it had enough “heft” to it in the original, so I thickened it a bit.
